Laboratory safety introduction

Working in a laboratory contains certain inherent dangers and hazards. Rules and regulations have been made both at the institute level but also specifically for our laboratories in order to prevent any undesirable incidents regarding people, material, operations, reputation or the environment. For further reading, see the HSE pages for the University here.
